I agree with your assessment of Hillary being ruthless in her lust for power, and I believe that she's capable of responding to a terrorist attack with the mindless ferocity of a cornered rattlesnake.

My concern is that, as with every single thing she and her husband have ever done, it will operate on the scale of getting through the crisis where they 'look bad'.

The net result of this are actions with no consideration of the long term consequences. If an unrestrained response to a terrorist act is taken, that response will last as long as she's convinced that she's being viewed as a 'strong leader'. The first serious criticism will be the next crisis and everything which came can and will be sacrificed so she doesn't 'look bad'. The spin machine can extend that time, but it can't stop it.

This is what concerns me, and Bill's 'attack on terrorism' on the day the impeachment votes were taken and on the day Lewinksy went to the grand jury is the model, except on a larger scale.

Dealing with problems in the manner of a 4 year-old throwing a temper tantrum scares me when the 4 year-old has more destructive force than has every been assembled at her command. Because, Hillary may be ruthless, but that ruthlessness extends only as far as her political fortune.

As usual, a prescient view into the future - a view those not half as loco are incapable of seeing. Can you help with this week’s lotto number?
