Hey, I thought maybe you'd like to post this in its entirety. Or maybe just excerpts. It is the "new banking model" I think.
Still sinking in.

>>>Not to be a downer but do any of you truly think that there is any escape from Obamacare?
Not being a downer at all. "No, not really" is my short reply. But keep an eye on the Governors. They're the only significant roadblock left. If they fail, the States will be more akin to Satrapies.
Then, I dunno. If its any consolation, its far cheaper to pay the tax penalty than to buy the insurance. Do that and just sign up if/when you need to [then drop it when you no longer do, rinse repeat].

I ask in all seriousness because I am thinking of starting my own insurance sales company. Maybe a few of you would like to join me in this endeavor?
I cannot beat them. I can only make a tactical withdrawal to a point of greater protection. Which is to say tht I must join the insurance industry as a salesperson.
Just an idea about how we can actually beat Obamacare.
Also, IMHO, Romney is doing his best to throw the match. I think he might win despite himself.

Good to hear RL is OK.
Within a week GOP 'leaders', including Romney advisors, started backpedaling on repeal of O-Tax. Predictably. GOP ain't gonna repeal shit.
WWI is a good analogy but I'm lately preferring the Cold War.

I hope not. I will be voting for Romney, but bracing for any contingency.

So in Joe's November, Obama wins handily?

I am not sure Obama is sweating so hard over this. One of the main talking points in mobilizing the apathetic who believe we're screwed either way, was the idea that while Romney might do little to keep our borders safe or keep us out of foreign entanglements, his SCOTUS appointment would at least offset the damage of Obama's activist appointments.
People see that Bush's appointee just jumped ship, so who is to say that Romney's appointment might not be equally ready to flip and appease?
Lastly, it doesn't matter in terms of political gamesmanship how Romney's state health mandate differs from Obama's national plan. "Romney Care" will be used as an effective cudgel to embarrass and discredit him; and it will hurt. Remember those "Read my lips" ads? The appeal of the New New Deal (much like the Old New Deal) is simple but powerful. Vote for me and I will give you free stuff. It buys a lot of votes, which will be buttressed by fraud. And Romney will be as hamstrung by charges of racism as McCain was, I believe.
