Once again I have failed to observe the obvious:

In addition to arm and handless urinators, the sign is addressed to castrati. This narrows the field considerably.

As long as I have arms, hands, and the necessary accoutrements to manhood, I shall refrain from sitting on public toilet seats zum pinkeln.

And Herr Master of Dobes ~ My comment about Kohler certainly does not address any of your concerns and wasn't meant to. Es war doch einer Witz.

Who would have ever guessed that the Germans would be reduced to a nation of "sitzpinklers"? Progress marches on.

Herr Red-Neck Potato:

It is both reasonable and appropriate that some of us, as you say, would get "carried away" with this frightful image. Moreover, our objections have nothing whatsoever to do with Kohler marketing objectives. Nein, nein. Are we to believe that this industry giant would so easily relenquish their considerable profits from urinal manufacture? I think not. Try again.

Should we really get so carried away? To me this translates:

"If you don't have arms or hands to guide the stream, please sit."

Kohler is a German name; I wonder if they make the transparent toilet on the right?

I fear this is just the beginning. Next we will be seeing that ominous red x over the penis itself. Gott in Himmel we are doomed!
