What do you mean, "No Music?" I thought the sound track to the LeLouch piece was outstanding. I played it through over and over at very loud volume -- thrilling. Thanks. |

No one from Yale would ever be humorless. Except maybe you and Eleanor. A joke. Get over your Yale self. (Though in my experience you guys never never do -- as dreary a lot as I've ever met...) Notwithstanding your Eli handicap, I'll concede. Maybe she has a sense of humor. If she does, her wit is as nimble as an elephant on ice. And sharp as a judge's gavel. Someone must have been putting us on, as you say. We're normally quick to spot signs of humor here, but then again, we almost never get it when lawyers try to make jokes. Deepest apologies. |

I think someone is putting you on - it seems obvious to me either that Rep. Norton is complicit in this gag video or that they have dubbed a new soundtrack. (In the interests of dull disclosure: Eleanor Holmes Norton attended Yale law School at the same time I did. She is a liberal Deomcrat and I am a conservative Republican. We are not friends or acquaintances. She is a bit much of a much, but NOT, IMHO, a "humorless self-important bureaucrat.") The things one can do in the new digital world. |
